What we can do for you
Electronic communications, websites included, come in all different shapes and sizes. (Okay, that's not totally true since websites typically come in a rectangular, screen-shaped form, but you know what we're getting at here). Since needs vary, the approach to designing or updating material likewise varies. Whatever the situation, if it's on the web we can probably help:
Start to finish design and construction
We'll start by talking over what you want visitors to see, then move to determining what you already have on hand (text, images, etc), design the site (colors, images, where everything lays out on the page), organize your content, place all text onto the pages, create and place images, and upload everything to its new home. We'll also guide you through setting up web hosting and email accounts if that's needed.
If you don't have a website at all, or your existing website is cobbled together over the years, this is probably the option we'll pursue. It may also be the approach for a site that's outgrown itself and needs both a new look and some reorganization of content.
Site updates
Your site looks fine... but Steve doesn't work for you any more. Your layout is exactly how you want it... but there's a new photo gallery that needs adding. If you don't have the time or experience to make those changes to your website, give us a call. There's no reason to let a good site lie fallow. We currently maintain several sites including thefeve.com and Full Circle Fuels.
Redesign of existing sites
Has your business changed its name? Its logo? Would you prefer a new color scheme? Or are you just feeling that your existing website could stand some sprucing up? If your content is organized the way you like it, this is probably the option for you. We can create a new look for your site and, if needed, transfer your existing text and images to a new wrapper.
48 hour designs
If you need a quick site – maybe an add-on to an existing site, or something to provide specific information on a rapidly approaching event – a quick, three-or-four page site will probably do you. We call them 48 hour designs because they typically take less time to organize, design, and build. This is a great option if you've expanded an existing business into a new department, if you have a design already laid out (say for a brochure) that you just want adapted to the web, and for smaller operations that don't need a huge footprint on the web.
Graphic design
When we build a website, we often have to create logos, patterns, and catchy graphics. All these can be done without a website, too – business cards, postcard ads, company logos, and more. We can adapt your web materials for use offline (or vice versa) or create off-line graphics to meet your needs.
Hosting and domain names
Every site needs two things to exist – a domain name, like www.spunsimply.com, and web hosting, the place 'on the web' where all your files sit. If you're just starting out, chances are you need both, so we created this step-by-step guide to help you purchase the least-expensive, most-stable package we've found.
